Sowing Seeds

Free RSVP

We all come from somewhere else. How do we carry a legacy of farming (with its traditions and foodways) along with us as we move and grow? Join a conversation with Vermont farmers from the global diaspora as we explore these topics. Panel is organized by the Liberation Ecosystem and will be moderated by Liesha McKinley-Barnet, the director of African Diaspora Foodways Institute of Vermont at Clemmons Family Farm. Panelists TBD.

This talk takes place 5:30 – 6:30 at 54 Main Street, and precedes the screening of SEEDS at the Capitol Plaza.

You must reserve a separate ticket to SEEDS. There should be plenty of time to walk from this venue to the movie theater.
