The Little Sister

Fatima, a young Algerian living and studying in Paris, begins to secretly explore her queerness, wrestling with how it conflicts with her community’s expectation of women. As she tries to pursue crushes, make new lesbian friends, and dive into the world of sapphic desire, she struggles to reconcile her passion with her profound relationship to her faith. 

An adaptation of Hafsia Herzi’s novel The Last One, The Little Sister is a tense journey of coming into one’s queerness while trying to hold family and community near.
