It is the 80s in New York City, and Robot and Dog are best friends. They skate in the park together, watch TV together, and sometimes they even hold hands. After a day of water adventures at Coney Island, Robot’s parts rust and he can’t move. Dog is forced to leave his friend behind, and when the beach is locked for the season with Robot inside, Dog becomes desperate to save his friend. This wordless, surreal journey of love found and lost speaks to the beauty of friendship amid the changing seasons.
